Who We Are
We're a garage door repair company based in Southlake, TX. We've been working in this area long enough to know the neighborhoods, the housing stock, and the kinds of calls that come in regularly.
Broken springs are our most common call — that's what the housing stock in this area runs on. Springs wear out, and when they go, the door won't move on its own. We also fix a lot of garage door openers, whether the motor is failing or something in the wiring is off. Doors that have come off their tracks come in regularly too, usually after a car bump or a cable failure.
We work on all major brands. LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Overhead Door, Clopay, and most others. Parts come from the van, not from a warehouse order that takes days. We also tell you straight if we think a door is past the point where repair makes financial sense. That happens, and you should hear it from us before you decide.
We give you the price before we start. No add-ons at the end of the job. If the repair turns out to be more involved than expected, we tell you first and you decide whether to continue.
Why we started
We noticed early on that many of the companies showing up in this area were not based here. They quoted high and moved on. Customers had no easy way to check whether the price was reasonable.
We started because we knew what the work actually costs. We have been in Southlake long enough to know the neighborhoods, the housing stock, and the kinds of doors common out here. That matters in practice. We show up with the right parts and give you a price that fits what we're looking at, not a number pulled from a national rate sheet.
Licensed and insured
We hold the licenses Texas requires for residential garage door work. We carry liability insurance. Those two things protect you if something unexpected happens on the job.
We don't work under high-pressure sales tactics. We quote the job, you decide. If you want a second opinion before committing, that's fine. We'd rather earn the work honestly than close it fast.
The technician on your job has been doing this work in North Texas for over a decade. Most of what we see in Southlake is torsion spring systems — that's what the homes built here between 1995 and 2012 use. He comes with the common sizes on the truck, not a parts catalog.
Our service area
We cover Southlake and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a garage door problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.
How we decide what to recommend
We look at the whole door when we arrive, not just the part that stopped working. A door under 15 years old with one bad component is almost always worth repairing. Springs fail on a schedule. So do cables. The door frame and panels tend to outlast both by a decade or more.
Once a door passes 20 years, the picture is different. Springs already replaced, rollers cracked, bottom panel taking on water. Any one of those is a repair. All three together is a conversation. We give you the repair number and what a new door costs installed. Both numbers. No pitch for either one.
We don't push replacement when a repair handles it. The markup on a new door sale runs higher than the markup on a spring job. We'd rather you knew that going in.
